Samuel Mayeden; CHN, BSC, MSCiH, PGDP Fellow
Samuel Mayeden is a dynamic Public Health Scientist with experience in Community Health Systems and Healthcare Quality with over 15 years progressive experience across a broad spectrum of health sector development work in African context with focused on enhanced health systems effectiveness, linkages, improving quality of care leveraging on available resources for improved outcomes. He is a trained Community Health Nurse and holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from University of Ghana, Master of Science degree in International Health from the Heidelberg University in Germany, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Practice from Heidelberg University, Germany and a Fellow of Dr. LEE Jong-Wook Health Policy for 2019 Cohort from South Korea. He has extensive experience in community-based health systems having previously served as a Community Health Nurse and a District CHPS Coordinator in the Ghana Health Service and a Health Project Officer for World Vision Ghana. He is currently the focal person for the Community Scorecard initiative being rolled out by the Ghana Health Service nationwide. He is a lead member of ASOLI on Health Systems.
