Felicia Babanawo, MPH, BSC, RN Fellow
Felicia Babanawo: She is a trained Registered General Nurse with both Diploma and BSc. degrees in Nursing. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Ghana. She has undertaken several trainings and fellowships in the areas of implementation research, community health services, gender issues, and health systems strengthening among others. She has extensive experience in nursing and public health practice and has participated in implementing a number of key health programs of the Ghana Health Service and its partners such as the World Bank, USAID and its implementing partners, DFID, JICA, KOICA among others. She has previously served as National Coordinator for Ghana’s community-based Health Planning and Services program (CHPS) and also served as the Gender Desk Officer coordinating gender mainstreaming activities at the Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation division of the Ghana Health Service. She currently works with the USAID/PMI Impact Malaria Project as the Advisor for Malaria in Pregnancy.
